    Recently i used one shipping agency here to ship my vehicle from UK via Belgium to Africa. As far as i know here we don’t pay VAT on export but i received an email from the UK shipping agency saying that the Antwerp handling customs (Belgium customs) for onwards movement of cargo say that the entry invoice issued in UK should include VAT despite the final destination of my Vehicle is Africa thus i have been asked to pay VAT by Belgium Customs according to the UK shipping agency . Right now the vehicle is in Belgium sea port so could you let me know if it is correct or not to pay the VAT on export in such case.
